「SMELLY oil fills the room in the evening from outside MOULDY bath mats LEFT OVER FOOD on top of WARDROBE ( probably a week old ) Previous GUEST card with name & signature left in drawer THICK DUST around TV & HAIRDRYER FILTHY CHAIR STAINED BEDSIDE UNITS NO FREE TOILETRIES TOILET ROLLS FROM PREVIOUS GUEST ELECTRIC SWITCH HANGING LOOSE!!!!!!! 3 VISITS with MANAGEMENT NO ROOM CHANGE NO REFUND Lucky me only 1 Night stay」

「Generally a good hotel and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good. Our family room looked very tired. In particular, the carpet, net curtains and bathroom sink need to be replaced and modernised.」

「Our stay of a family of 4 was perfect. The Deluxe Apartment was just right. The breakfast was great and very reasonably priced with lovely staff. Very close to everything. Will definitely be back.」

「The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. 」

「Bedroom was especially clean & well maintained AND with a sea view and en-suite . The bed was so comfortable & very clean bedding & towels . The breakfast room is very modern too & full English at a great price . The visitors areas are of a high standard including toilets . The decor in entrance & garden don’t reflect the standards inside . I felt very welcomed with host D & appreciated her hospitality & professionalism」

「Staff was kind and helpful. Our room was odd to get to going up the stairs then down the stairs. No A/C so windows open… except open to a bar right outside which was loud until 3am. Yikes. Wonderful location next to the promenade and shops. Good food options around too. TV was small. Bar area had broken drafts for the beer. Breakfast was so/so but they would make you eggs however you’d like fresh, so that was nice.」

「Lovely hotel on the sea front. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Shops, restaurants, steam railway all within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks were a nice touch. Room was adequate for a 1 night stay, lovely bathroom & comfortable bed. Would return again and recommend to others」

「I honestly cannot rate this hotel high enough, the rooms were absolutely spotless, the breakfasts were amazing and the staff. Well every single member of staff were pleasant, polite, courteous and helpful. The aircon was heaven sent in the heatwave, I had amazing sleep every night yet my brother in law in a budget hotel was tormented with heat. I will without a doubt stay there again and wont even contemplate looking at other hotels.」

「Breakfast was excellent and evening meals were good value for money. The staff were friendly, kind and very helpful. The hotel's location was perfect with adjacent parking for our classic car. It was right on the market square and the bus stop with a regular bus service was just outside. The room was good and clean. 「I received a warm welcome at reception and was able to store my bag until it was time to check-in, later in the day. My room had a sea view and was clean, tidy and contained everything I required during my visit. I'd happily stay here again on any future visits to the Isle of Man.」
