「Rooms were clean, could do with updating, there is a restaurant on site , but only did minimal food, bar on site , there are vending machines, that only take only money, but the machine you had to muck about with it to get the snacks as the door was dodgy. Signal is weak, location is lovely」

「Loved here my room was facing onto the sea and beach front. Very clean and well decorated, plenty of towels in bathroom which was also very clean, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, handwashing ans body lotion/ hand cream provided. Swimming pool area was very clean robes were provided changing area was spotless. There weren’t sny bags for put our wet swimsuits but that was the only fault. Receptionist helped me with a loan of an I phone charger - forgotten mine very grateful to her....

「The hotel was nice. The food at the Brassels was better than the Cruzerie (?). The hotel was pet friendly. The rooms were a great size and comfortable. Unfortunately, we couldn't do much as you have to book everything in advance. We were not aware that you had to plan ahead.」

「This castle is fabulous! For Americans it is like stepping into a Downton Abby set. The staff greet you at the door, take your luggage and from that moment forward treat you like royalty. Not only is this a gated property, but you need your sir name in order for the gate to open! Then the drive up the narrow road just enhances your excitement to see the castle. John was great at showing us around and to our room. He was very helpful in understanding where everything was and how to get around....

「A very pleasant stay here , only for 3 nights , but a lovely little gem next to The Seafront . Lovely Staff & food was very nice.」

「First time here , but the rooms were fairly spacious , clean, and I always check mattress! Excellent , good lighting , lovely bathroom items provided , shampoo etc, my only wish would be that the shower wasn’t in the bath ! Due to bad knees , but water hot and good pressure , tea coffee fasciitis provided in room , we ate in the restaurant , food was great , well priced , and hot on arrival. Breakfast included , buffet style , good , plenty on offer , ( but the tea was not very warm , ) all in...

「Stayed here several times in the past. Comfortable hotel, good parking, rooms comfortable. Hotel starting to look just a little bit tired, I suspect it will have a refurbishment in the near future.」

「The room (and possibly the entire hotel) looked to have been renovated recently? No air conditioning in the room and so it was a bit uncomfortable during the night. We only realised there was an electric fan at the back of the cupboard as we were leaving 🙄. The staff were nice and the parking was plentiful. Well located at the Ayr end of the high street and not too far from the beach. The breakfast was very tasty and they offered a good range. Overall we were very happy with our stay.」

「Staff very friendly and helpful. The property is dated but the amenities and rooms were good. As I entered my room I could feel the heating was on slightly which was ideal from coming in from a cool damp evening. Breakfast was continental which was fine. Would definitely return」
