This is a fantastic hotel with the best breakfast.
The beach infront of the hotel is amazing and my dog loved it and the Dalmatians.
The staff and owners offer great service and we lived our stay here.
Very warm welcome from Nick. Spotless room and bathroom. Dinner was delicious. Beer icy cold and views fantastic. Definitely add this little gem to your list of places to stay

Lovely hotel, absolutely delicious food at both breakfast and dinner, friendly welcoming staff. Sits right on the beach. Room comfortable and warm. Only downside was that our window blinds were broken so we couldn't see the sea view we paid extra for, and the rooms, although clean, could do with a little more cleaning to remove dust and some grubby corners on skirting etc. Great location for exploring Mull of Kintyre and an easy day trip to Gigha from here.
Arrived to a friendly man who showed me to my room which was great, modern and clean, I ate there as well and food was 20 out of 10 and priced great, sand man served me and he was great. Had a brilliant nights sleep. What more can you ask for, highly recommend.
It seems to have been recently renovated and they have done an amazing job. The whole hotel has a welcoming feel to it and the staff are exceedingly friendly. We are so happy with our choice.
Nick, Ian and their staff provided exceptional hospitality - they were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and flexible regarding our arrival time. Their communication was excellent, and the hotel itself was impeccably clean and offered a high level of comfort. Our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional, enhanced by a stunning view. Without a doubt, I would eagerly revisit given the chance. A top-notch experience deserving of an A rating
Great breakfast & choice was very good & great quality. Great place for our wee dog, well looked after & beach straight outside.
Room was very clean & modern & sea view brilliant.
Owners & staff where very helpful & friendly

Unique refurbished old manor. Owner Roger bought it and refinished the wood interiors and interior. Charming. Within walking distance of the town of Campbeltown Scotland overlooking the loch.
I usually say in Campbeltown itself, but decided to try this hotel. I like to have a choice of eating places when I am away, but for 2 nights I stayed in the Argyll. It was wonderful. warm, welcoming, and very friendly. IT is ideal if you want a well priced hotel, with not too many frills. The owners have added lovely wee touches, like real orchids and plants in bedrooms! I will definitely be staying there on my next trip to this area. Bar food was on the good side of okay...well enough cooked, fairly limited but acceptable menu, portion size again on the okay side !!( I am a man that likes my grub!)
