We found everything at the resort to be excellent. We did not have time to take advantage of the pools and exercise equipment, nor some of the other facilities available. The restaurant buffet breakfasts were superb. However, we did not like the burgers, which were required by law to be well done.
The hotel was nice. The food at the Brassels was better than the Cruzerie (?).
The hotel was pet friendly. The rooms were a great size and comfortable.
Unfortunately, we couldn't do much as you have to book everything in advance. We were not aware that you had to plan ahead.
The hotel had lots of amenities including multiple restaurants and two pool areas. It was in a lovely location with beautiful gardens. The staff were really helpful and adjusted my check-out time slightly later which was very kind. I also liked that there was a free shuttle to and from the ferry station from the hotel. I also booked in a treatment at the spa, which I would highly recommend. The only feedback I have is that I found my room rather small, but it was still a nice room and this didn't negatively impact the stay.
Fantastic well-maintained property for a relaxing atmosphere. Wide variety of food options to meet any taste. Clean an comfortable rooms and welcoming common or shared use areas. A surprise oasis. Steven was particularly helpful.
Great Base for Exploring Arran
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Auchrannie Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Arran.
The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing a relaxing base to explore the island. One of the highlights was dining at the resort’s Cruize Restaurant, which offered healthy menu choices along with prompt and friendly service.
The resort facilities are excellent and cater to guests of all ages and interests. I particularly appreciated the fitness centre, which was well equipped and a great way to stay active while travelling.
Another bonus is the location. Just around the corner is the local Ormidale Hotel, a lively and welcoming pub that was a great place to meet locals and enjoy some authentic Arran hospitality.
Overall, a fantastic stay and a property we would happily return to on a future visit to Arran.
Eccellent staff always helpful, room was always kept clean, we had to request more heat for the room and that was attended too. the buffet breakfast had a good choice of food although for the eater that did not take much it could be an expensive breakfast. Dinner in the Cruise restaurant was vey good but menu was the same every night. Waiting staff were always very helpful. On arrival the television was faulty but this was rectified the same day. Although the weather varied we did enjoy our stay.
We had a great stay. Lovely place, amazing grounds, A1 service.
A little confusing at first because there is a resort side and house hotel side.
But staff was great explaining and getting us a person to help with our bags.
Had dinner at the Cruize restaurant absolutely delicious and fresh food.
Rooms excellent, lovely clean and bed was amazing comfortable.
We really loved our stay.
One recommendation is that the glass door in the shower is too short and there is no way the floor outside the shower doesn’t get wet.
Amazing stay in the retreats! View of the mountains was serene, woodburning stove and hot tub were perfect for chilly nights and the grounds were immaculate. Will stay again for sure.
Fantastic stay in the magical Auchrannie in all its festive glory. Relaxing spas, sumptuous food and quaint walks round the grounds were the highlights. Thoroughly recommend.
