"This place was beautiful, and every single one of the staff was super super nice. It was quiet and calming and just a very nice place to stay."

"The hotel is a far cry from what it once was - the carpeting in the room I was in felt dirty and although I slept well I will never stay there again. The people that work there range from wonderful to inadequate and rude. My room had no closet or bedroom amoire to hang my clothes and they don’t have spare clothing racks. One of the “good guys” worked as a maintenance man and he found a luggage rack that I could use for my stay. He is quitting at the end of April. There are no in house amenities like room service or a gym. There are 2 very loud bars. My advice is to look carefully before booking there."

"This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. The ambience of this hotel and its rooms is good for couples. Never considered the importance of a hotel smelling really good until I got here - there's a wonderful scent in the general spaces of this hotel. The place is quite neat and the staff are always ready to help in anyway. The room was spacious. The location of the hotel is really good. As most people have said, the coach car is just at the front of the hotel. Magazine street is close by and so also is the Garden district. There's free parking too, which was really nice."

"Disgusting had bugs, no lock on the door, huge gap around the door to clearly see outside, ceiling was coming down, and smelled strongly of urine in the hallway. Hotel staff were very rude and not helpful. Completely disgusting. Also there was another resident tearing apart a mower all night in the parking lot."
