"Our stay at the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport - PHX by IHG was terrible. We were charged for parking and breakfast which we did not expect to based on our reservation and previous visits. There was construction going on in rooms around us and the water was turned off of several hours. But the worst thing was that we were embarrassingly accused of smoking, which we absolutely did not do, and charged an exorbitant fee of $250 dollars. When we talked with the staff about that they were very rude and combative. We will never stay there again nor at any other IHG facility. Note: there were other staff members that we interfaced with who were very polite and helpful. BTW the dates shown in the photo at the left is incorrect. Our stay was from Sun., Mar 08 - Tue., Mar 10."

"Location was close to airport but farther away from downtown. Room was clean and comfortable. Carpets could stand to be updated or removed. Our bathroom shower door would not completely close so the water was everywhere on the floor. Parking was easy and plenty of room. Staff was excellent. "

"The cleanliness of our room could have been better. I found a bug wondering near the coffee brewer while I was getting ready. You can tell in the bathroom area that they do just a quick sweep type of cleaning due to some marks in the shower area and the toilet. It is located in the outer part of downtown Phoenix, not exactly in the center of downtown. Many homeless people roaming around in the nearby streets. It is also located across a grill/bar/club. You will be able to hear the music they are playing all night long. "

"This hotel does not deserve the rating it has on hotels.com. The room entrances are from the outside like a motel and our door had a gap at the bottom that you could see to the outside. There was a roach crawling on the chaise lounge in our room. The rooms seemed to be very clean though. The breakfast should not be advertised as they only have waffle batter, yogurt, cereal and a few breads. We went to breakfast an hour and 20mins b/f it was over and there was no waffle batter left, no juice, no coffee, no yogurt. There was no one working the area and a lot of upset guests. When the front desk gal was asked about refilling the breakfast she said she was the only one there and she couldn't do anything about it. You can't advertise that your hotel stay comes with breakfast when you don't provide breakfast. They do not provide any eggs or meats ever so it was very poor especially for the rate they charge per night. I would not recommend staying here."
