「I had a somewhat disappointing stay at the Best Western in Dartmouth. I booked this hotel because it was the closest hotel to my daughter's collegethat had a pool and fitness room. When I booked the hotel it confirmed access to the pool and to the fitness room. But when I got there, I was told that the pool was only open Friday - Sunday. 「The staff were very personable and went out of their way to change our room. The first room was dirty, but the one we received after that had been cleaned very well. The smell of the cleaning agent was a bit overwhelming though. Everything that I saw on the property needs to be updated.」

「The proximity to Scarborough beach is ideal. Just walk across the street and you’re at the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful.」

「The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. 」
