「Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this property to anyone staying in the area especially if they are looking for a nice play to stay close the Campus. Lots of food options and once Olive Garden is completed, it is across the parking lot! 」

「Incredible good attention from the hotel staff, because the Expedia did a big mistake, I did a reservation for one room and 3 adults, and Expedia gave me one king bed room and didn’t fix this mistake after I called them. Though the hotel manager solve my problem even that the Expedia didn’t care about. Thanks so much Red Roof manager, appreciate your attention and support.」

「We enjoyed staying here which was conveniently located near the highway (but far enough so you don't hear the noise), restaurants, and the town. The rooms were nice and clean which included a full fridge, microwave, small stove, dishwasher, coffee pot and kitchen supplies. The bed was firm, and pillows were great (at least to us). There was plenty of room to spread out to put your clothes / things in closet. Only thing that they didn't have is a room safe which would've been nice to have....

「Really in the middle of nowhere. Never will come back to Iowa but thank you for the pleasant experience and help. Couldn’t get a Lyft to save my life from there. 「The rooms were clean and neat. I like the "no carpet" rooms. They feel cleaner. The water was hot and i liked having a refrigerator in my room. The breakfast was good and the people were friendly」

「Lovely and quite area, however a bit of a ways away from town. I wish we had more time to spend in this lovely home and enjoy the amenities. We arrived late and unfed and they kindly provided me with provisions which was above and beyond. Had our best sleep of our cross-country journey here and would definitely visit again if in the area. 」

「I always like to stay at Iowa House when I'm in Ames. The location is excellent, the breakfast always delicious, and the self-serve aspect of the house works really well. The common spaces are comfortable and nicely appointed, bringing back that ISU vibe with mid-century decor and oak treatments.」
