"The experience at The Cove Hotel was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, the property looked nothing like the photos online. The images made it seem clean, modern, and located in a nice area, but the reality was completely different. The surrounding neighborhood felt unsafe, with people wandering around outside who appeared clearly under the influence. Within minutes of arriving, we felt uncomfortable enough that we immediately canceled our booking and left. It was honestly one of the most misleading hotel experiences we’ve had. If you’re considering staying here based on the pictures online, be aware that the real situation may not match what’s advertised. Our advice: Stay home and Stay safe."

"Basic accommodations, clean, staff was eager to assist any way needed. Location is close to the cruise port and has food and coffee within walking distance. Looks like it's an Independent owner, which I like to support."

"Met needs, but needs improvements. Checked in late for a place to sleep for a few hours before our cruise. Housekeeping could definitely do better, and front desk check in person was focused more on their personal Phone call than being attentive to customers checking in or buying goods. The wall plug outlets were connected to the light switch in rm 219 so the only way we could plug in a c-pap machine was to keep the light on. Thankfully I had an extension cord that we plugged in across the room and were able to turn the lights off to sleep. Would probably not stay there again. "

"This place deserves even more than 5 stars. The property and rooms are impecable. This felt like a cozy airbnb. The 2 ladies who work the desk are 2 of the kindest humans in long beach. This location is also perfect- close to restaurants and grocery store. We would stay here again in a heartbeat "

"This place is all right if we’re just gonna sleep in and that’s it just use it to sleep in and go where you have to go just didn’t like the people at night making a lot of noise, but not for long it’s all right just for a quick stay"
