「The hospitality of the staff especially Ginny the owner of this fine establishment was very helpful and were great to chat with regarding the region of the Adirondacks. Let me not forget to mention the rooms are cozy, impeccable and lovely decorated by Ginny who is true artist. I do plan on visiting this area of the Adirondacks again and the Balsams will be base camp when exploring this beautiful area. 」

「We went for a wedding. The room was beautiful. We were informed how to get in and how to get in touch with someone if we had a question because most of the time no one was at the desk. When we did have a question they responded right away. It was a beautiful place and the breakfast was very nice.」

「Checkin was pleasant and room was on 1st floor right next to parking, so easy unload and load. There is a family feel to the inner courtyard/parking, as some residents make use of their porch while children pet visiting dogs. This hotel was our choice rather than paying a fortune to stay in Cooperstown. A nearby Walmart and eateries were a plus in this small community. Beds were very comfortable, water pressure great. 「I stayed here during a Cooperstown Baseball Tournament. The cost was 1/3 of most hotels closer to Cooperstown. $750 for the week! Vs $2000-3000 I did have a 30 min drive through farm country… but it was enjoyable stopping for dinner or ice cream along the way. A Walmart was just a minute away… overall for the Price a great stay that made Cooperstown affordable. (Also had a really nice pool, decent breakfast, and workout room.) 」

「We booked one night originally and then the next night at a later date on a 3rd party site. Bambi was able to get our reservations merged so we could stay in the same room. I didn’t know the 3rd party booked 2 different room types but we just had to check in and out and all was good. 」
