"The hut looked really shabby from the outside but, thankfully, it was better inside. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but there were no towels or tea-towels, dishcloths etc. and no tea, coffee etc. The bed linen wasn’t great, with stains and burn marks on the duvet cover. The mattress was stained. As a one night stop-over on a bike ride it was OK, just."

Waterloo Hotel Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"We had a warm welcome when we checked in and our room was well maintained, clean and well appointed. We didn't eat but had a couple of drinks in the bar, again the staff were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast, which was cooked to order, hot and tasted delicious"
