"Very polite and helpful staff very clean and tidy general areas and the rooms were immaculate some furniture looked a little dated but certainly were not damaged in any way and still very servicable I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

"The rooms / bathroom need a real boost. Its old..beds are far to small for " normall size" people. There is a seperate cold and hot water in the sink.???? The outside does not tell how the inside of the rooms are. You can here the people in the room next to you."

"A very quirky hotel with plenty of character. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast presented a good choice and the eving menu had a number of choices. Room was a little dated but to be expected in a castle. Peacocks everywhere!! Village centre is very quiet with a number of units closed. Work was taking place on the central mm aren't square so a little unkempt and inaccessible."
