「After tent camping in Heber Springs since 1988, we came upon this lodge due to thunderstorms predicted. This was my best and favorite experience there. The cabin was spacious for everyone and the view of The Little River is breathtaking. My family enjoyed the guided fishing tours all inclusive. It stormed hard all night long and we enjoyed the rain on the tin roof instead of floating in our tents. The Lucky Trout Lodge is our new favorite family tradition. 「Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic. Clean and neat, but no amenities, whatsoever, but a beautiful location.」

「After checking in I parked and noticed cigarette butts in front of the doorway, maybe 7-10. I got in the room and pulled the comforter back to sit on the bed and immediately noticed that the sheets had not been changed.
