"Dante was a wonderful host for our 8 day stay at Sunset Tulum. The area is surrounded by super cute shopping with a wonderful breakfast spot across the street. The beach across the street was beautiful, with easy access. The hotel was tucked away in the lush jungle with guarded security, so we felt very safe and taken care of there. The attached restaurant, Loco, was some of the best food we had with great atmosphere. We also enjoyed utilizing the rooftop cooking space with the beautiful sunset...

"It was nice having a pool and a refrigerator. The air conditioner didn't cool our room to the degree we set it. A gym on the next street plays loud music in the morning. Although the staff is pleasant and most speak English, sometimes no one is around and the water is often empty. Even so, I still would stay there again as the place is in a good location at the edge of town, the price is good, and the grounds are really beautiful."

"Didnt get to stay got there no one was at the reception place is nothing to do with a hotel has a bad aspect dosnt look in good conditions and the location no good a person that stays there saw me looking for someone and he toldme that the person in charge left and be back probably next day and that this is all the time so i am very disapoint but in a way haply because i didnt like that place at all "

"This is an apartment not a hotel. The room is tastefully decorated and has a decent bathroom. The building entrance is on an unpaved alley that is not well lit in the evening. There were mouse or rat droppings outside the door, though no evidence of them in the room. It is located on a busy highway, with large trucks that can cause the windows to rattle. This is about 15 minute walk from where the nice restaurants in Tulum are located and about a 30 minute bike ride to the beach area."

"Where to begin? From Elissa, Anna, Judi, Javier, and all others we saw regularly.Sweetest cat, Gatito, greeted us each evening upon our return. "This place is brand new, only 4 months old since it opened. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help you by answering your questions or by simply confirming a taxi when needed. I would stay there again, the only con I didn't like is that the closest convenience store is "walking distance" but the roads are very confusing [we got lost]. "
