「Very nice people」

「very nice family with a small motel. the room was comfortable and clean. very in the off season, the winter hot water took a while to get hot but once it did it was fine. i like staying at family owned places. close to where i needed to be. 」

「Charming and comfortable suite. This is an old building, stairs and floors are well out of square and weathered. All things we needed were provided and clean!! Rare and treasured. Restaurant under construction 11/2025. No fuss, easy communication via text.」

「The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)...

「Perfectly clean room, excellent room rate, easy check-in experience, new fixtures in the bathroom, and a larger than usual mini-fridge. We would certainly stay here again! The manager allowed us to check-in a few hours early to freshen-up before attending a funeral, and then she waived the early check-in fee - CLASSY LADY!!」

「Property is great! Room clean, amenities stocked, ample close parking, nice lake view. Internet is a little spotty, but you can walk up the hill a bit and be fine. We'll stay there again the next time we're in the area!」

「Apparently this property was a Holiday Inn. Now under new ownership, it appears to be still in the process of conversion. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a decent place to stay. Rooms are large and clean as are the bathrooms. Included breakfast is a nice amenity. Staff is friendly and helpful」
