"Absolutely excellent stay! This hotel is gorgeous, a beautiful grand building set in beautiful grounds, with the added benefit of having Mount Vesuvius as the backdrop. The location of hotel is brilliant for Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius, Naples, Sorrento, Salerno etc, and the regular shuttle to and from Ercolano train station was very welcome. "A lovely property and location. I would not stay here again in the off/shoulder season. I think we may have been the only guests at somepoints. We went for breakfast on our second morning - we waited 30 mins and although staff were around, no-one came to serve any breakfast. The room itself was dusty - the vintage furniture has lots of nooks and crannies that would make dusting tricky. It may well be better in the summer/busier time periods."

Its placed in a small garden with fruit, which also is served at fantatic breakfast incl home cooked jam, bread and cookies. All done by hand. Its and relaxing and tasting expirence. "

"I have been there late August, beginning of September. The superior bungalow (Ciliegio) was nice and clean but the 3 of us founded very small. Great for a couple. Bathroom OK, spacious, powerful shower. It would have been helpful having a shelf on the sink. The door lock wasn't working. The pool was nice, remember you'll need a swimming cup for the pool. "Easy access from the train station. The managers were incredibly useful in getting us organized for our stay as well as to give us a long list of things to visit and places to eat in Napoli. I would recommend this place without reserve. "
