「Great location and friendly staff」

「The pool and deck area is very nice. The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was hit or miss. The room was very small.」

「I liked that check in was quick and easy. I did not like, however, that we had to ask for towels every day and sometimes you would only receive towels that were a tad bigger than hand towels. We weren't in our room very much so it wasn't a huge deal.」

「If you are looking to stay on St. Simon's Island do not book your stay at Epworth by The Sea. The staff was not friendly or accommodating at all. When we arrived to the property. We were left in the dark about the properties'' amenities unless we asked. The iron in the room was broken, there are spider nests and cob webs all over the place inside and outside. My biggest complaint however, is that our first morning we left the "maid service please" signage outside on the door handle that was...

Hotel is outdated and old looks newer from the outside, but the inside is very old had a terrible night trying to sleep only slept like three hours due to the moisture and musty smell in the room. Very disappointed at Marriott. This doesn’t meet their standards.」
