「I was looking for free breakfast and a pool. I liked the price of this particular hotel. The breakfast was great! Room was clean. Pool was refreshing. I thought our room was quiet. We were in one of the outside ones and we were on the second floor, my boyfriend had 2 new knees and had to go up and down stairs, didn’t see an elevator. Had a great stay!」

「The close proximity to the Branson strip and small benefits were greatly outweighed by the awful humidity in our room. We were greeted by a dated appearance and musty smell right away, that should have been our sign to turn around. Everything else has been fine, the beds are pretty comfortable. The included breakfast was fine, and the room was clean.. but man, what a deal breaker is a humid room. We cooled it down to 68 degrees and everything was still sticky and moldy smelling. I'm not kidding...

「Essentially, this is the perfect hotel minus air conditioning. Which unfortunately is probably the only thing that matters besides being clean. I've stayed here 3 times and the a/c basically keeps the room at 78°- 80° from 8am - 10pm no matter what. It makes the room humid and sticky and almost unbearable. Everything is honestly well kept clean and perfect otherwise. The staff and management couldn't be better 10/10. But the owner operator needs to replace the a/c's they are 13 years old at...

「The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.」
