"The property was beautiful- very well kept- felt tropical. Location was good- only 15 minutes from town. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Pool area was clean (not lots of deck chairs) Felt a little dated- but excellent value and the rooms were very clean with fridge, microwave and stove burners. Definitely would recommend and would stay there again in the future."

"The hotel was located in an area that was less than ideal…. Although, It was close to the local attractions…. I only notice a few homeless during our three days in San Diego, and one of the homeless living in their car was about fifty feet from the hotel…. "

"Breakfast was good, and the staff at the bar was super friendly. My room was nice and quiet, but there were things that annoyed me, like how the door lock was hard to trigger open. The ceiling light with motion detection kept flicking on and off. Lastly, the air in my room smells like vinegar or something that I had to run the A/C unit to the coolest in order to bring it down. I was not sure if it was from the humidity of that hot day or something else. "
