"Didnt go to gym"

"Great location in Coconut Grove near many good restaurant options. The problem with this hotel is the front desk staff. Terrible treatment of customers. Only one person working during check in / check out. There was a line of 15 to check out. Tried to gently ask the person at the desk if anyone could help and she snapped at me that she "was alone" as though it were my fault (meanwhile there was what seemed to be a manager in the office nearby who did not jump in to help). She refused to print me a receipt saying it was through Expedia. I always book through Expedia and no hotel has ever denied me a receipt. Particularly since I needed the receipt for the incidentals which is directly with hotel. Overall very unprofessional front desk staff. Loved the hotel, it's unfortunate that they don't have a better trained and more customer friendly front desk staff. "

"Front desk Tried to tell us where to wait for a shuttle pickup at the airport but they were totally clueless. . The driver showed up where we expected them to get us not where we were told to wait but it took about a half hour. Place was ok but things weren’t working properly and needed repairs. Not homey feeling at all breakfast was supppised to be included but it wasn’t. They wanted us to pay 15$ for food that was sitting there for who knows how long. Noise was so loud we slept horrible. "

"Historic building, good restaurants, pool and golf facilities. The building shows it age and although the room was well decorated and comfortable the general condition of the building fabric especially outside is in need of refurbishing, one lady at the Italian restaurant wasn’t that helpful when we were considering making a reservation, was the only low experience as the rest of the staff and guests were polite and nice to talk to. Good hotel but for the rate would need modernisation especially with a resort tax of circa $99 night. Unlikely to stay again but was worth a visit"

"Very clean and comfortable but a little dated in places. Breakfast disappointing especially as it was not available until 7:30am, despite 6:00am advertised."
