"I have mixed feelings about this stay. I’ve stayed here before. It’s not the nicest hotel, but you know that going in. For the price though, I’ve generally found it to be decent compared to other comparable properties in the area. On this trip though, I got to my room and the climate control wouldn’t switch to “cool.” It would only go to “heat” and “off.” It was March and it was 52 outside, but because of the wind direction, when I opened my window, no actual cool air was coming in. After about a half hour in the room it got up to 75. I went to the desk and asked why the cool setting wasn’t working and they said it should be and they’d send maintenance. I then had a man in a swimming suit and flip flops come to my room and he proceeded to mess with the controls for like half an hour. Ultimately telling me I needed to switch rooms. Okay, they tried and I switched, no big deal really. But then at the second room he still had to come in and “reset” the thermostat to get it to work… I just needed to cool the room down to sleep. Once it was cool I don’t think the AC kicked on again, just the fan. Anyway, I can’t prove this, but I have a suspicion that, likely in an effort to save money, this hotel is locking out the “air conditioning” on their thermostats during the winter months. Which… You often wouldn’t need AC in Seattle in March but I thought this was all worth noting. I’d still stay here again, but they advertise AC and I had two rooms where it didn’t work at first."

"Yes shops near by. Stayed at your location because it was easy access to St. Jospeh's Hospital . Staff was very courteous and kind. I felt very safe with the underground parking situation. I thought the breakfast was very good and I enjoyed Keurig machine with many coffees and lattes. we will recommend this hotel to others and would stay again anytime. "

"Noisy! It sounded like dump trucks were driving in the floor above us. No recycling available and the waste baskets were so narrow nothing would easily fit in them. The lobby was messy when we arrived as some guests had their luggage open and strewn on the floor. Won't stay there again "

"We have enjoyed this hotel previously. This time was a disappointment. We intentionally booked because of the 24 hour shuttle as we knew we would be arriving very late. When I called from the airport for a shuttle, a recording said the shuttle only operated from 4 am to 1 am. It cost me $25 in taxi fare. The desk clerk said the shuttle was 24 hours! No offer to lessen the pain of an unnecessary $25. fare. "
