"Check in had us a little confused as they are in the process of remodeling the office area and we did not see the peg board at first. There’s a peg board on a wall there with each persons name on an envelope w the key, your receipt & information as well. I wasn’t too crazy about this set up as anyone could walk up & pull an envelope off, go into your room, view your personal info. Apart from that the room(s) have been redone. We were in 10 facing the back road. Easy to park directly in front of our room. The front parking lot is a little tight & not a lot of parking spaces. I was happy for our easy parking area. There is a short through walk way should you need to park behind the hotel. A full kitchen with dishes & silverware/utensils. A two burner electric stove, refrigerator, microwave & other items. We had a double queen but the rooms are a good size. A kitchen table with four chairs, the bathroom is smaller so no real counter space. Shower was really good. We had a good night sleep. We had issues with the TV remote & called # listed. Not much help/care. Turned it on manually but volume didn’t work. AC standalone unit- the kind that have a vent that goes to the outside by way of a tube. It was at the foot of one bed. Ceiling fan that didn’t do much, and a separate smaller oscillating fan if needed. They have adjusted the window so there’s no open areas. Restaurants in walking distance. A market & gas stations too, those are a bit pricey. We had a good 1 night stay."

"Upon arrival, this cute little place looks ok, but once you start exploring and receive the welcome bag etc. it's so fun and adorable. The cabin style motel room was rustic but sweet and just right. But the best part was the FOOD, so don't miss eating dinner there! So glad we waited till we arrived to eat - large portions, but also delicious, and includes ice cream .... then roasting your marshmallows over one of the campfires for s'mores, which is provided. We left the back door open with screen, to hear the babbling brook all night. Then off to Yosemite the next morning. So fun!"
