Juniper Springs Resort

Juniper Springs Resort

8/10 Good
"Absolutely serviceable for a quick stay in Mammoth—roomy, but room and interior of hotel showing clear signs of wear-and-tear usage you might expect at a ski spot. Good night sleep, basic, but no extras."

Motel 6 Mammoth Lakes, CA

10/10 Excellent
"As a solo traveler, location is everything, and this Motel 6 is perfectly located! It’s close to shops, bakeries, coffee shops, and everything you need. I felt very safe during my stay…well, with the exception of the bears! 😂🐻 The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. One important tip: don’t leave any food in your car overnight—the bears are definitely around! I had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again!"

"It was a good stay. It's an older hotel, but maintained well. It's near the East Entrance to Yosemite National Park. The Mono Lake was not what we thought. It's a Salt Lake, with lots of brine shrimp, sea gulls, and flies. The hotel was in town, walking distance to many shops and diners."

"The only complaint is that there were long hairs on the tile in my shower and on the floor and even on the soap dispenser. Kind of creeped me out - the rest of the room and hotel seemed so pristine."
