The line light is a wonderful addition to Mammoth Mountain! The rooms are quite comfortable and large. The complementary breakfast is delicious and has lots of variety. The staff is friendly. The location is excellent. Highly recommend.
The property was warm and comfortable I wish we could have had more time there. I will say now that it's snow season it is out of our reach in pricing. The hotel is beautiful and a wonderful addition to mammoth
New and clean, friendly staff , fantastic amenities, great breakfast!
Only feedback less than perfect 10’s was
1) it was a too long cold walk to get to the heated hot tubs and pool at far end of property (no access through owned units section)
2) t though the gondola is just right across the street. They’re way too many stairs to get to ground level and there’s no crosswalk.if you’re in ski boots it’s challenging so we ended up driving to the ski lodges
Nice new hotel in Mammoth lakes… liked that they included a buffet breakfast… hotel staff was helpful & friendly, except 1 snowboarder valet that had a negative comment about Roberto’s… rooms are nice & clean… king mattress was a little uncomfortable for some reason… think the floor under the bed was uneven and slightly sloped at a odd angle
Room was in great condition, however housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning the room, staff has really bad customer service ( some were rude, some just lazy) didn’t offer help carrying our luggage, ski concierge drop our skis and didn’t even apologize, waiter drop a pizza on the table and left it there without even cleaning it or offering to bring another one, hotel has great potential however they need to train their staff better!
Clean room. Very friendly and approachable staff every where. Our waiter was really nice, especially with our toddler. He made sure she was entertained while we wait for our food. Everyone and everything was great and we would stay here again. The only thing we didn’t like was the light fixture/chandelier in our room — it was hanging too low. My husband 5’11’’ accidentally bumped his head multiple times on the light (it was painful!). Hope they hang higher to avoid injuries.
Excellent location and great use of space in the rooms but lots of opening jitters to work out. Free breakfast is nice but often not enough silverware and food replenishment is slow. One of the most frustrating is that you cannot find a trash can anywhere downstairs but in a bathroom. Not in the food area and not near the lobby. Staff were trying real hard to make everyone happy but needs more guidance. Overall great location and hotel but I wouldn’t consider it a five star but comparable to a Hyatt or Marriott.
They have a hidden per day amenities charge and they charge for valet per day plus a few taxes that they don’t specify when booking. You have to valet your car so if you need to get something out of it you have to have them bring it up. Place is nice and new! Some of the staff is great some are ok and one of the Valet guys was kinda jerky. I parked my truck no valet greeeted me so I got my luggage out and wheeled it inside to valet and he’s was like yea, I said I need to valet my truck / rudely says are you checking in? No genius I’m just carrying a back pack and a roll around suitcase for the fun of it! What do you think I’m doing? The other think is the bar closes at 10 they say but pretty sure they were closing at 9:30 and food stop at 8:30 so nothing to eat after that. No room service after I guess 8 because every time I tried around then nobody answered and no snacks or mini bar in room! So bring stuff with you!
The staff support, hotel services were lacking to say the least. No room service, limited food availability, limited house keeping service and just seemed like they were totally unprepared!!
a. there needs to be an indoor pool. It snows afterall.
b. The worst things was that there is no self-park option. Makes tipping the valet with each exit a little expensive.

Overall, the hotel was not staffed or prepared for the New Year’s crowd. And being open only a few weeks it was definitely a soft opening that should not have taken place over a crowded holiday with all the rooms sold out. We stayed four nights and our room was never serviced and when we asked for new towels or dirty dishes to be removed, they point blank said they didn’t have the staff to do it. You could never get a drink at the bar and the breakfast that was provided in the morning was a joke never any coffee or constantly running out of clean forks or food. At one point, I saw a woman drinking coffee out of a cereal bowl. Messes in lobby and near elevators were not cleaned up and the lobby was always full of complaining guests. The phone was never answered at the reception desk and help was never given. The last night I had to go down to reception at midnight for toilet paper that couldn’t be found. And the price of this experience was $1000 a night but the experience and service was that of a hostel.
Our stay was excellent, courteous staff, and very clean rooms. Breakfast was delicious with a good amount of variety. I would recommend if you’re looking for a great place to stay this would be it.
