"The property was nice. The location to downtown Staunton is perfect because it’s walkable. One particular front desk person seemed very annoyed by questions/problems during our stay (Keurig in our room was broken and I went to the front desk to let her know and we needed a restock of some things in our room). One evening in particular she was not very nice to someone in our party. So that person was a bit of a downer to our trip."

"The hotel is in a prime location & has great amenities. However, the cleanliness was very disappointing. Upon arriving in our room, it appeared clean, but then we found that none of the surfaces had been wiped down, the shower was never cleaned and had hair & other residues. When I brought the issue to the front desk I was told that my room would have a full service clean the next day, that never happened. They came and changed the sheets & gave fresh towels, but the shower remained untouched as well as the other surfaces. Pretty dissappointing for such a nice property. "

"Nice, modern and elegant hotel in very good condition and beautiful grounds. Conveniently located when visiting UVA campus. Could be improved: restauration options. Diner and breakfast options were limited and costly. Parking was valet only and expensive."

"Did not try to access the internet. Room was clean, air conditioning worked well. Impressed by the available breakfast and the Shower."

"No coffee makers even though they have it listed as an amenity on their web-site. There was garbage on the floor in front of the AC/Heater from the unit, i imagine someone 1/2 cleaned the filter to the unit and then reinstalled the filters backwards so when the ac was turned on it blew the rest of the crap out of the filter into the room."
