「The room was clean but needed updating. With no inside access to the breakfast bar it made it harder for someone disabled to access it. Once in our vehicle, we were ready to head out. The shower was nice but difficult to regulate and the water would change temperature without touching it. The young lady at the front desk, the only person we saw, was absolutely wonderful.」

「Hard to tell as this was my first and last stay here, but I don’t think the staff here like black people, or maybe just us. They were not helpful to us, but I observed their interactions with white guesses and it was different. Could be they don’t see much black people there. Very uncomfortable for my family. Just needed a place to sleep. Next time in that area of Virginia, I’ll definitely stay somewhere else.」

「The hotel was conveniently located close to the highway, and it was surprisingly quiet given that location due to the many semi trucks on that stretch of the road. We did stay on a Sunday night so that may have had something to do with the lack of noise. The breakfast was very adequate. The room was very clean. The only issue was that our shower leaked due to the door track not being securely bolted down which caused the water to run under the door. We did mention this to the front desk...
