Biggest complaint is the super bright flood lights in the parking lot. Its great for the parking lot but they have them mounted on the outside property line facing the buildings. So even with the curtains closed it was super bright in our room all night. The parking lot is also very small making parking a little hard for somw people. The staff was great , room was pretty clean but outdated .

This hotel is very average in all aspects. Breakfast was OK. Rooms could use some updating and some towel bars or hooks in the bathroom. Strong smell of marijuana in the elevator and hallway when we arrived around 9:30 PM. Location is great, but I would not stay here again.

Pool was too hot and cloudy, hot tub cold and foamy, no exercise bicycle, false fire alarms went off at 3am, 3:30 am, and 4am. Bathroom great, sofa bed comfortable, breakfast great.

Beds were cozy, price was affordable for a midway stop to vacation. Loved the restaurant variety in this area- El Patio was simply amazing. The free breakfast included a lot of variety, although I would have preferred bacon to the sausage patties they provided. The complimentary coffee, tea, water, and accoutrements were appreciated at check in and check out. I would definitely consider staying at this location again if I’m in the area.

Reservation policies are NOT consumer and traveler-friendly! If you have to cancel for any reason, kiss your money goodbye! And they will not work with you, regardless of circumstance. Find another hotel. There are many other properties in this area.

We had a nice stay here for an overnight trip. The room accommodated my entire family of 5 comfortably. Breakfast was good and most of all I appreciated the staff for calling me right away after they noticed I left my laptop in the room. We ended up picking it up on our return trip a week later. I appreciate your staff’s kindness and honesty.

My husband, myself, and my three boys were driving back to Florida from Ohio and stopped at the halfway point in Wytheville. I looked at several different options for places to stay, and although this one was more expensive, it looked cleaner from the photos on Expedia. We also chose it because it had an indoor pool where the kids could get some energy out for the night before we hit the road in the morning.The lobby was very clean. The breakfast area was clean. So far so good at check-in. The staff was even friendly. We went into our room and it looked like it would do for the night. The kids changed into their bathing suit and went down to the pool and I accompanied them I could not stay in the pool area for more than 30 minutes because it was stifling hot in the pool area. The pool was a refreshing 85° while the hot tub was a cool 75°. There was so much chlorine in the pool that everyone’s eyes were burning. we were barely able to stand it for more than 30 minutes. There were other people in the pool area that were also complaining about the heat and the extremely strong chemical smell. So we went back to the room to get some sleep. It was the worst night sleep I’ve had in a very long time. The beds were very uncomfortable. In the a.m. I checked under the beds for any left behind items and there was trash under both of the beds. I did not notify staff as we had to head to FL early. I will say that the breakfast was decent, and the staff was attentive to the breakfast.
