We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was very clean and quaint. We enjoyed browsing the history in the lobby and having dinner at the bar. Everyone was super courteous and hospitable. Historic hotel with lots of charm and good amenities. Rooms were very clean, and surprisingly spacious for an older hotel. The restaurant and bar were also quite good. Parking was convenient and being in the center of town made walking around the town easy as well.

Overall, this was a very wonderful stay. The staff were excellent and super helpful. Onsight, the Graze on Main, and the Perch had excellent service, and the food was delicious! Recommend all the shareables. Easy walkable distance to great little shops, additional dining, parks, and museums. Don't forget to try Skeeter's famous dogs, right across the street! Such a piece of history! Recommended if coming to Wytheville, this is the place to stay!

All in all, this was a great place to stay. I tried getting a room with the best view since my wife and I were celebrating our 47th Anniversary but was told they tried but couldn’t make it happen. Also, I don’t mine paying more for a nice hotel which this was but I was disappointed that the tub did not drain well. I told the staff upon checkout and feel certain they would most likely fix for the next person staying there. That small incident took away from all the other 10 things they did right. It was still a nice stay and we enjoyed the local folks.
