Bay Breeze Inn

Bay Breeze Inn

8/10 Good
"The room was much better than we expected. It was relatively clean and large. The two queen beds were great. However our stay was a bit noisy due to the presence of birds outside of our unit all night. The shampoo bottle was empty for our showers. There were no one in the office when we checked out. Parking was very convenient."

"Located in central Monterey and walking distance to historic Monterey, Fisherman's Wharf and surrounding beach. Thirty minute walk to the Monterey Aquarium with a trolley stop in front of hotel property. Beautiful lobby with library. Jack's restaurant on site has excellent food and outdoor fire pits to enjoy the evening."

Sand Castle Inn

Sand Castle Inn

8/10 Good
"Room was exactly like the photos. Only complaint was that we were put in the room directly next to the laundry room and the walls are thin so we could constantly hear noise. AC worked very well once and the water heated up nicely. Overall, nice stay."

"Really nice. Very helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Loved that the cafe was there. A little slow at times but friendly and the food was good. Our shower needed some work as the shower head kept falling over. Other than that we liked staying here."

The Monterey Hotel

The Monterey Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We just had one night driving through, and this was a good choice for where to stay. Very convenient to the wharf and shops downtown. The room was bigger than I had anticipated and had a working fireplace. We left early the next day so we were able to take advantage of free street parking that runs from 6 pm to 9 am. There is also a free or discounted lot nearby the staff can direct you to, you don't have to valet."
