Silver Surf Motel

10/10 Excellent

"Room was clean. Hot tub was a little murky but we went in anyway and it was fine. Probably just had some sand or oil or something. Very basic hotel. No coffee in the lobby and the coffee machine in the room makes only very weak coffee. Walls are very thin -- motorcycles outside could be heard VERY clearly. Somebody was smoking weed outside our window or above us and the smell wafted in, which was gross but not the hotel's fault... The back parking lot has a bump that hit/scraped the bottom of my car. It was really inexpensive, especially for getting into the Big Sur area. We'd stay again, but with lower expectations."

Cavalier Oceanfront Resort

"We had a wonderful stay at Cavalier Oceanfront. The property was very clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful location right by the ocean. The sunset views were absolutely perfect and one of the highlights of our stay. The room was well maintained, and we really appreciated the nice minibar and thoughtful amenities. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience with a great location, beautiful ocean views, and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again."

Bay Breeze Inn

"The Bay Breeze Inn is the best facility that I have stayed at in Seaside over the last three years. The room was large. The king size bed was wonderful. The microwave and refrigerator were more than adequate. The shower water strength was awesome. The staff were responsive. Parking was always available and free. I volunteer for Pebble Beach golf tournaments and getting there from the Inn is easy and about a 20 minute drive. Costco is 1/2 mile. Other grocery stores and restaurants are close by; some in walking distance."
