「Stoney Creek Inn was charming with a lot of character. We found the staff to be friendly, the property to be clean and the overall ambiance to be inviting. It was close to a delicious Mexican restaurant called Los Aztecas and right in front of the Piggly Wiggly. It was close to an art school that had a quaint gallery. It was also not too far away from the downtown area. We would highly recommend Stoney Creek Inn and would choose to stay her again in the future. 」

「Great place just minutes away from downtown Galena with beautiful views. Alfredo greeted us and could not have been more welcoming. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There was everything you could want in a small inn ... fireplace in room, swimming pool, gazebo, fire pit, and decks outside each room with chairs and table. We will definitely be back! 」

「This historical hotel was incredibly beautiful. We stayed on the 3rd floor but the elevator was out of order. Just a slight inconvenience. All the furniture in the suite was antique and was very nice but a comfortable sitting area with a couple pieces of more modern furniture would have been nice.」

「A lovely hotel. Close to the town. Easy parking. Cozy and clean room. Friendly owner. Definitely it’s a great experience to stay overnight when you visit galena. 」

「As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...
