"Staff very helpful, including front desk and driver, but property not in great condition. Coffee maker and magnifying mirror in room both broken. Outdoor whirlpool not functioning. Unpleasant sulphur smell around whirlpool. Restaurant not open for dinner. Dinner only available in bar, not great atmosphere. "

"Beautiful ocean view from balcony. Short walk to the beach chairs and water. Great spot!"

"Kitchen had a microwave and a rather noisy refrigerator. Bed was comfortable. First room had no wifi discovered after unpacking. Bathroom was newly renovated but had the slipperiest floor i ever encountered in a hotel. No shelves in shower required throwing soap, shampoo on floor in order to wash. No towel bars in bathroom requiring using toilet as a table. Construction (not hotels fault) ran from 6-8 so a bit noisy."

"Good price for the size but the walls were thin so we heard traffic off the busy street all night and no blackout curtains. Also, it would have been nice to have TV’s in each room."

"Hotel is a bit dated. Outside-entrance rooms. Convenient location. Comfortable bed. I had a good night of sleep there."

"I didn’t love how our balcony view over-looked a weird slab of concrete and it almost looked unfinished. But besides that the room was very nice, the cleanliness was on point, majority of staff was kind and helpful."

"I can't imagine how this place gets the ratings they have. The staff was friendly and responded to requests but in 6 days we never had anyone clean, bring towels, provide toilet paper, etc. This is an aging property that may once have been like a small inland resort, but now it's a grungy motel. Linens are grubby, lamps rusty, beds tiny... The pool is quite nice and lake view is pleasant if you get a room with a view. I’ve stayed in worse places and I've stayed in more expensive places, but the rates and the property are a mismatch for sure. "
