「Very well kept」

「The room was very clean. The staff were pleasant and breakfast was very good. Even though there are only two floors, let people know there is no elevator. As senior citizens it was a bit of a challenge getting our luggage etc up the flight of stairs and then back down again.」

「The hotel is not particularly impressive overall. The breakfast is quite average, and the dining room is uncomfortable with no A/C. The tables are also not very convenient. Although the property is generally clean in the hallways, there is a noticeable smell of old or dirty carpet in some areas. In room 131, the hair dryer was broken and did not work. Pelham House is not only beautiful but the grounds were wonderfully maintained and the room was pristine. Waking up in a comfortable bed, able to brew a hot cup of coffee and walk just 15 feet to the private beach was incredibly peaceful, which for us work horses, we desperately need. The room was clean.
