「Cabins are clean and comfortable, especially the rooms with A/C to cool down after a day at the beach. Restaurant serves excellent meals for breakfast(included with the room), lunch, and dinner. Great location and value.」

I reached out directly and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Please save your time and money! my family had to look for another place around three in the morning. Such a hassle」

「We had a horrible experience before coming to this place so we were extraordinarily happy to find a clean location. This place is brand new so it’s very clean and wonderful. The only thing I would say is that if you’re planning a big visit to Tamarindo stay at this place in 2027 and check that the construction is finished. They are currently building a club and pool area on the beach across from the rooms that we stayed at. If you stay before 2027 and you want a pool, they are offering for you...

「While the staff was amazing and the property was very beautiful, the roads to get to the hotel were not paved. Not only were they not paved but at some point they (local government) closed the entrance and no one was notified. It took me contacting the hotel so the concierge could walk us through how to get to the hotel. It was not until two days later when I complained that we received a letter and a map. This was not well planned with the city. Very disappointing.」

「Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was great and not to be missed. We enjoyed the evening cocktail at sunset provided by the hotel a short walk down a path to the beach. Monkeys in the trees and beautiful birds. We traveled with 4 teenagers who loved the location, walkable to town, or short uber. Fun shopping and local restaurants on the beach. Ocean is swimmable with local rentals in town. Villas are spacious and well stocked with kitchen, large living room. Staff was very helpful...

「De la Playa was amazing. We had security at night to make us feel safe. We had access to its sister hotel right next door, the Tamarindo Diara. Both hotels were right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Highly recommend this property, staff was amazing, you will not be disappointed, will be back soon」
