I traveled solo and my room was very comfortable and simple. If you’re high maintenance this isn’t the place for you. This is for people who don’t need or do too much. I enjoyed the breakfast that was included, Juan went above and beyond to ensure I had transportation to and from the airport, the pool was nice and was a chill vibe. Water pressure was great and everything is close by and walking distance.

Absolutely one of the best places I have stayed at! From the amazing staff to the little oasis of a hotel you will definitely not regret staying here! The reviews about the cleanliness is spot on it truly is that clean. The breakfast was phenomenal which was included in our stay! Don’t worry about the walk to the beach it truly isn’t bad at all and I found it to be a great way to see the town everyday! The staff at the hotel were not just nice but super helpful and give you local spots to you to check out. So sad to be leaving all of the staff they truly made the trip better than I could have imagined!

The room was very welcoming and had everything I needed. All of the staff was very helpful and the entire hotel felt calm and restful. I loved the breakfast - they even made me breakfast to go on the morning of my departure!

We had a very pleasant week staying at Hotel Arco Iris. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast options were all excellent and delicious. Our bungalow was very comfortably appointed. Lots of storage, shower products, hairdryer, fridge and safe. We enjoyed our front porch hammock and seating area daily. The pool was great and had plenty of lounging space.This lush, peaceful property, just minutes walk from the beach and the center of town, was the perfect place for us.

From the moment we booked, the customer service was great. Both Henry and Juan were a pleasure to deal with. They helped arrange transportation from La Fortuna to the hotel, as well as to the airport in Liberia for a decent price. Staff were friendly and they had a good selection for breakfast. The location is great, it’s quiet but in the heart of downtown just minutes to the beach. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Tamarindo at a fair price.

The hotel is pretty small, so we saw the same people at breakfast and by the pool frequently (which was really nice). The rooms were mostly stand-alone buildings (quaint). The room was clean and nicely furnished. We paid extra for the free breakfast. It was really worth the $. Very good options to order. The pool was somewhat small, but it was never crowded. While you are at the hotel, it is beautiful. The beach is about 1/2 mile walk, but you need to walk on the rocky, uneven, dirt shoulder of the road.

Spotless room, comfortable bed, very quiet! Juan Carlos was very welcoming and helpful. Cold filtered water and coffee available all the time. Breakfast was very good “muey bueno” Easy walk to restaurants and 15-20 minute walk to the beach. Very peaceful place to stay!

Very well maintained property and wonderful breakfast. I didn’t give five stars because they missed some of the little things, like providing a rubber bath mat for the shower. The floor tiles appear to be glazed. I almost slipped and fell every time I showered. Also, having to put soiled toilet paper in a wastebasket instead of flushing it is something I haven’t had to do anywhere I’ve traveled at this price range.

I highly recommend. The place was clean and comfortable. It was a slight walk from the beach so was quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. I had the omelette each day.
