Fantastic. Amazing natural beauty, a few very nice restaurants but otherwise quiet and safe in a gorgeous natural setting. The roads are all gravel or dirt. They are currently being repaired, but I'm sure they'll become very rough again.
We went to the beach close to the property, Playa Lagartillo. It's a nice and secluded beach about 5 min walk from the property. There are tide pools on the beach that the kids could play in. The beach also is a decent swimming beach.
