「This motel is close to sleeping bear dunes and reasonably priced for the area. We are a family of 5 and struggle to find rooms that accommodate all of us without having to book two rooms. Honor Motel had rooms with 3 double beds. It was quiet and clean. Air conditioned and a dehumidifier running kept it cool and comfortable. Kate was super friendly and made check in really easy for us! We highly recommend this place! 」

「This place is awesome and the gentleman that owns it is the kindest man you could imagine. It was like staying at my grandfather's house. Nothing fancy, but considering the alternatives in the area, the cleanliness and comfort far exceeded my expectations. Just a couple miles from tippy dam AND he has canoes and kayaks!! 10/10」

「Stay next-door to the sleeping bear fell apart visitor center. This location is very convenient. Small quiet tile. Was able to get a good meal at the village Inn, which I could walk to and in the morning I got up and rode my bike to empire Bluff Trail Before heading up to sleeping Barry to ride the Heritage Trail」

「There were rarely any services but alternately it was very quiet and peaceful. The environment was great and cozy. One of the obvious insanity point was that the towels had dirty spots on them. 」

「Pet friendly! The beds and pillows were comfortable! I love that they provide a sound machine to drown the traffic noise for light sleepers. 」

「Kevin and Tonya have created a very special motel. Kevin is on the local tourism board and knowledgeable about the area. Both are nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean and don't break the bank. Convenient location. They offer locally-roasted coffee in the morning or a nice selection of tea and have a nice partnership with a local restaurant nearby for breakfast (large portions and delicious). I stayed here on a work trip, but would come back with family. This place reminded me of why family...

「Have stayed at the Frankfort Hotel 3 times! It’s charming! Every room is decorated differently, as seen on the website. Staff are friendly & attentive. Parking is on-site & free. Room & common areas are very clean & quiet. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel to the Lake & beach in one direction & to the shops & restaurants on Main Street in the other direction. Can walk all the way up & down the busiest section of Main Street without moving your car. It’s a lovely place to stay!」
