"Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Clean hotel and close to good restaurants and sightseeing . Only improvement I would suggest is bigger pillows and more blankets on the beds . Also had to move the microwave to use it as the cord would not reach and was not plugged in when we arrived "

I was impressed by how easy everything felt here: quick check-in, spotless room, comfortable bed, strong water pressure, reliable Wi-Fi, and quiet halls at night. The team at the front desk was friendly and responsive, exactly what you want after a long day on the road. Parking was hassle-free, and the location is convenient to VMI and historic Lexington. Breakfast offered hot and cold choices and was well-stocked. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to families visiting VMI or anyone passing through."
"The Lodge offers simple rooms with comfortable beds and an awesome view of Abbott Lake and nearby mountains. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant was quite good and super convenient. Don’t miss the walk around the lake, which is paved and accessible. It’s a great pre- or post-dinner stroll and we enjoyed it. Excellent stop while taking in the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway! Highly recommend!"
