The private pool attached to our unit we rented was disgusting, we asked to have it refilled and cleaned, however we were ignored. We loved the pool. Had a great time, would rent from another unit next time in the same location.

Akumal chillado

The reason for the low score is there was no hot water in the shower, and no tv service despite there being 2 TVs in the apartment. The apartment was large… and clean. The bed was comfy. The pool was nice. The toilet seat was broken, and again NO HOT WATER or TV. We were only there for one night so those things weren’t the end of the world, but no way could I stay there for longer without at least a warm shower…. It was absolutely freezing.

Pros: Clean pool and outdoor areas, safe neighborhood, Cons: No reception office, private condos. I don’t believe the sheets were changed from the previous guests. Found about a dozen hairs of different types in the bedding. Told staff about the hairs. I checked out of the room so they could clean and change the sheets. Checked back in the next day and they made the bed with the same sheets and bedding. Still dirty of course. Makes me wonder if they are washing the towels and bedding between each guest.

Could be really nice, but unit (was in unit A1) needs some TLC and more consideration needs to be given making the unit more "user friendly" TLC/maintenance issues: 1) bedside lamp didn't work (suspect burned out bulb, but not sure). 2) Safe did not work (suspect dead battery); 3) Front door broken-out at dead bolt, so was concerned about safety (door could easily be forced open); 4) BBQ area on lower deck was not useable; 5) sink on upper deck not hooked-up and bottom of sink was gross, with what looked to be cigarette butts in the bottom User Friendly suggestions: 1) Were no sharp knives provided...pretty difficult to cut bread or to cutup a pineapple with a butter knife; 2) kitchen really needs a microwave for heating water and warming up leftovers; 3) there were salt & pepper shakers, but they were not useable because the bottom plugs were missing; 4) need instruction sheet for how to use TV, cook top and oven.....unable to get TV's working (often got "no signal" message). there were 2 remotes, but no way of knowing what each did. Also, one remote was for Netflix/Apple TV/Roku/Prime/YouTube, but had no idea if any of these were included with the TV service; 5) had to use Google and You Tube to figure out how to use the cooktop and oven (a basic instruction sheet would be helpful); Other apartment units I've stayed nearby supplied very basic inexpensive items to make stay easier, like..salt & pepper, a little cooking oil, paper towels, kitchen towel, oven mitts

Beautiful place for the price

What a beautiful property! The rooms are small but very clean. The property is lush and beautiful with lots of foliage and cute walkways throughout. There are 2 pools. Not a lot of food choices in the immediate area and none in walking distance but we had a rental car and enjoyed driving over to the ocean or to find food. Love this place!

Ridiculous

Ridiculous that this place is listed. It is a bedroom and washroom in the middle of no where. No restaurants, stores or any help in walking distance. Just a room in a group of townhouses. No reception,no water,no coffee, nothing. Dropped off by taxi and abandoned.

I arrived late at night. The next morning I noticed that the shower was disgustingly dirty, there was mold on the walls around the toilet, and there were cockroaches under the dilapidated cabinets. I immediately booked at a different hotel and when I requested a refund the management of Anah suites were not willing to refund me, they refused to discuss any further and told me to contact Expedia.

My flight was canceled due to the Vancouver airport being closed for three days due to weather. I was finally able to travel to Tulum. Then I asked for some kind of compensation such as changing the date of the stay or cancellation of the reservation for the involuntary loss of my flight, and Anah suites refused to acknowledge my request. I ended up paying double at another neighboring property for my vacation in Tulum.

The unit (D1) is very nice however it is neglected by the management team renting the unit. On our arrival, there were no cookware available, no dish soap, dirty windows, plugged drain in the shower, dirty dishes in the cupboard, mold in the cupboard, plunge pool broken,etc. The concierge brought two pans the next day and blame the owner for the issues with the unit. Despite the unit being very nice and well located and do not recommended due to its lack of cleanliness.

We reserved this property and the host pulled the reservation out from under us! Despite selecting pay on arrival the host waited until just before check-in to tell us we had to bank wire money to an account, and then didn't honor a new reservation paid through Expedia via credit card. We showed up at our room to find out the key wasn't there and had to book an entirely new reservation somewhere else. If we'd wired money like requested I'd be out my entire fee! Be careful reserving here, the property looks ok but the manager took our money, immediately ghosted us when challenged upon our finding no key available, only partially refunded us, and we had to file a challenge through Expedia for a full refund.

Do not stay here

Arrived to find night security did not speek a word of english. Got in room. The power was out. Remained out most of the night. Went out the next night as well. Room was cold. left oven on all night for heat. No soap of any kind in room. Only 2 towles for entire 10 days. No laundry service with in 10 miles. Actually nothing in area but 1 restaurant 1/2 mile away. No room service. No instructions or information left in room. Couldn't get tv to work. On demand Water heater did not keep up to a shower and thru the breaker often. Water from tap tasted the worst I have ever had.

Hermoso lugar pésima atención

Llegada fácil y lugar hermoso, la atención es muy mala no había cafetera, dijeron que mandaban una y nunca llegó, no servía el baño principal y tampoco fueron a repararlo, el baño de visitas tenía fuga y el área de grilla estaba sucia, llena de hojas y carbón, muy mala agua de la alberca como que si no les importara. Ojalá cambien de admin pronto por que el lugar si vale la pena.
