The rooms were recently renovated and very nicely decorated. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping things clean and leaving towel animals daily. All rooms look out on the ocean. The grounds are absolutely beautiful as is the beach and ocean. We just ate at the buffet and food was good, nothing special, but always able to find something to eat. They have other restaurants available with other options but we didn't use them. Definitely a nice relaxing vacation in an absolutely beautiful location. Great for relaxing, but not for the folks wanting to party. The staff was wonderful and friendly.

Our room was very clean and welcoming. The staff is and always has been excellent! Wilburt in the main bar is fantastic, Luis, Juan Carlos, and Aurora(the “egg” lady) in the buffet are fabulous! The beach bar has wonderful service and will fix special things if requested. We ate at the Mexican restaurant and at the Grill and the meals were amazing. The pork shank for two in the Mexican restaurant was beyond amazing. Ducelli, beach waitress, went above and beyond when serving us and remembered us from our previous visits!! They and the beauty of this resort keep us returning year after year!❤️

This is our 5th year staying at ABBR and we absolutely love it. What makes this resort is the people, the staff all the way down to the folks that keep your room clean. They make you feel like family. If there are any issues, please high we have had few, they are quick to rectify to make your stay enjoyable.

We went with 8 people, 4 adults and 4 late teens. Had a good time over New Years. Rooms were great. Food was ok. Rosa on the beach and the Omelette lady were excellent. Entertainment was great for the resort, just wished they had a pool table or ping pong. Beach was good. The morning chair claiming is tedious. Not sure why the hotel doesn’t have more chairs available. There is room on the beach. FYI-We have been to many beaches but we have never seen so many stingrays so close to beach. Snorkelling was awesome. We brought our own mask & snorkels and it was worth it.
