"Older hotel but right on the beach and all rooms face the ocean with balcony. Smoked salmon chowder every night with warm cookies provided by hotel staff. Warmed pool & jacuzzi. Walking distance to downtown and shopping. What more can you ask for. As an older widow I felt very secure with locked entrances and staff are all friendly and very helpful. My go to stay in Newport. "

"This hotel is getting ready for some repairs, it is showing its age. BUT, the staff was wonderful! The room was very clean and comfortable! The pool was nice size...we didn't swim, but we did use the sauna! And that was awesome after getting chilled to the bone in the ocean winds! We will definitely stay here again. It is a very convenient location if you want to head North or South and explore neighboring towns. "
