North Gold Coast 5 Stars Hotels

"Room was clean but a bit dated. The staff were so lovely at check in and check out. The room cleaners always said good morning and tidied up our room each day. It was nice to visit during the Easter break as there were lots of families with kids also enjoying the hotel and its facilities but it also wasn't over crowded. I would stay here again. My kid loved the pools and the playground. We also utilised the kids club for one night and my daughter seemed to have fun as it was the first time she had ever been to one. Only thing I would mention is they might need to invest in more plates for the breakfast as they seemed to run out from 8.30am onwards. I'd also recommend getting breaky at 7.30am if you can as there are more tables available before the rush. They held an Easter egg hunt and did a great job of ensuring all the kids got an egg and they were also Cadbury (so delicious). I highly recommend going to Amici, the steak was sensational and so were the prawns and the pineapple cocktail was delicious. I would recommend for them to get kids desserts that don't have peanuts but it was great they were aware of the allergens in their foods so we could feel confident in what we ordered. The kids activity play room is amazing, it too could also use an update. 80% of the games worked but it would be great if they all did. Honestly, I would happily stay here again in future, it was perfect for kids and families, well ours at least."

"Stayed here for 7 nights. Unfortunately, the system didn’t recognise that I was Platinum status with Expedia. The front desk did provide 2 drink coupons upon asking but a bit disappointed there wasn’t more on offer. Overall stay was good. Positives: short wait for lifts, pool and spa with quick food/drink service, helpful and friendly staff. Improvements: bathroom setup wasn’t the best. The vanity/sink was difficult to navigate as there was a shelf right above the sink and the shower tended to make the entire bathroom floor wet and slippery. "

"Room very dusty Room clean didn’t get done till 4pm daily, when we had to get ready for dinner Asked for plates first night, they never came lol Pool wasn’t opened till 11 daily Buffer breakfast was ok Seems like place was really understaffed, property fairly outdated. "

"Clean and spacious. The outside balcony windows could done with a clean as they were dirty. Probably not at fault as sea salt spray. Rest of the apartment was perfect"

"Friendly staff and good breakfast, but the hotel is pretty worn down. We were intially given a room which was very dirty with dirty windows, crumbs on the floor, rusty extra bed, dusty fridge door and very dirty coffee table. After complaining to the reception, the gentleman rebooked us to another room which was much better than the first but still had mouldy grouts in the bathroom, dirty coffee table and sticky carpet in addition to scratched bedside table and the main table. We gave up changing rooms as it was only one night. Hotel does not meet expectation of a four star hotel and from what we saw hardly meets a three star hotel standards. Unfortunately very disappointing."

"Bathroom wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Floor water trap full of gunk and dust/dirt/plastic top behind bathroom door was yuk. Toilet brush was gross. Everywhere else was really clean. Could like to have had somewhere to hang clothes to dry that couldn't go in a dryer. Staff were fabulous as was the location. "
