"We stayed here for the hot spring and skiing. The sauna and outdoor bath were awesome – we loved them! The hotel itself is a bit old-fashioned and has a 90s atmosphere, but there’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, it felt like a nice cultural experience, a bit different from the usual modern hotels in Japan. The only downside for me was the dinner option. "Midtown Niseko was a great base for skiing in the Niseko area. We stayed four nights in the hotel, so had a good chance to see it in action. The facility was clean, well maintained and staff were very polite and helpful in all of our interactions. The hotel is a stop on the free shuttle bus between Grand Hirafu and Hanazono, which was incredibly convenient. The rooms, while small, were efficiently laid out and with space-maximizing storage closets. The beds were hard as bricks, but I travel with an air mattress, so was able to mitigate this somewhat. The breakfast buffet was varied and provided a lot of food options. All round a hearty endorsement of the Midtown Niseko Hotel."
