「The location is great, being within walking distance of center of Blowing Rock. Parking is convenient being right in front of room. Room was clean and consistent with prior stays over the years. Only thing that should be improved is better quality toilet paper. The single ply is not in keeping with the overall positive expeir.」

「We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. There were nail heads sticking up out of the floor upstairs and the floor creaked loudly every time we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom. 「Other than the day we checked in there was never anyone at the front desk and to dorr to the lobby was almost always locked. No extra towels or coffee was available.」

「It was beautiful land and quiet. Staff very pleasant. Room was ok but only one bottle of water. No times available at spa, food was ok but very over priced, need more options for food, especially breakfast. No pool, no jacuzzi… WiFi was inconsistent.」

「We did not have a room in the house, instead had very small room in an out building. Room was musty. Had small window AC unit. No tv. Some stains on old pink carpet. Main house locked at night so no access to coffee or TV. No ice available. WiFi went out every night and there was no cell service so we couldn’t check on our house and dogs. Inn keepers / owners Bernard were very pleasant however we would not stay there again.」

「The lack of parking requires a shuttle that doesn't run before 7 AM, so you are trapped until then. There is no air conditioning. The 38 gallon water heaters mean only 2 showers per hour. The TV had 8 different remotes and 1 turned on the TV, but no remote increases volume so you can actually listen.」
