Fort Oglethorpe 3 Stars Hotels

"This property was good but I thought it was more upscale than it was. I picked it because of the great reviews, but I will say it was definitely not upscale. The elevators were packed and the place is jammed with people (at least when we went). The breakfast was fine, and the staff was excellent. Overall if you aren't looking for an "upscale" experience its ok. If you want any kind of luxury this property is basically in a giant mall and strip mall area and has tons of traffic and a bit noisy. Not ideal for walks or anything other than crashing at night and not close to downtown"

"The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and large. We picked one of the suites. The part that was not convenient was parking. It wasn’t connected to the hotel, it took forever to park. Only one elevator was working at the hotel and it was very slow. During busy times there would be a long line. We were on the seventh floor and took the stairs to avoid long waits but couldn’t always do that if we were carrying a lot. The pool is very small but great for little kids. The location is wonderful!"

"Despite having multiple open rooms on the main floor and posting about being handicap-friendly, the front desk made us take a room on the second floor and CARRY OUR 83 YEAR OLD GRANDMOTHER UP THE STAIRS. We were also told that our luggage was trash, and when we were having issues with our hotel toilet, we were left to deal with it ourselves. When we finally got ahold of management, they offered a $10 refund. Absolutely ridiculous. "

"The room was terrible. I stayed here because the reviews were pretty solid. I didn't need anything fancy. But it looked like the room hadn't been mopped. The toilet handle was dangling off the toilet. The shower had hair in it. There was mold all around the shampoo bottles in the shower. The picture in the bathroom was caked in dust. The only good thing was the bed was clean and comfortable and the ac worked great. I wouldn't stay here again "
