The Hotel Chalet at The Choo Choo

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed one night in this hotel in downtown Chattanooga. What an experience! Beautiful property with easy access to restaurants and activities on sight. There is a courtyard that had an arcade, caricature drawing, gift shop and restaurants. We tried Nic and Norman's for lunch and the food was reasonably priced and very good. The hotel has a french boudoir theme but not overwhelming. Rooms were clean, bed was very comfy and all was well maintained. We tried the coffee/pastry bar in the lobby for breakfast and the coffee was good and the pastries were fresh and tasty. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Next time we'll try to stay in one of the train car suites as it looks like fun. If you're in Chattanooga bypass the chain hotels and stay here for the same price or better. You won't regret it."

"It was a wonderful stay! It was our first time staying there and everybody was so helpful. Two employees did out Jewel who worked the front desk and Paulette, who worked the reception in the afternoon. We are gonna be staying at the Drury hotel in Gainesville on an upcoming trip."

"Moxy is a one block walk to Chattanooga historic train station where you can get drinks, food, specialty shops, and visit GATE 11, an award winning distillery for their gin, vodka, agave bianco, and absinthe! Their drink menu has unique offerings, too. We loved the Moxy lobby full of game tables & a full bar. The staff was always helpful and our room was clean and comfy. The hotel has a very modern vibe which we appreciated."
