"We spent one night in the Family suite with our 5 grandchildren - so nice to have our own separate bedroom with a TV. (Pricey, though!) The balcony was enjoyed by us with a beautiful view of Lake Superior and easy access to the lake walkway. Kids loved the pool and hot tubs. Nice breakfast room with the usual waffles, eggs, etc. Coffee machine, fridge and microwave in our room. We were next to the canal and lift bridge and walking distance to restaurants and shops (Coldstone Creamery and Caribou Coffee also) Kids had a ball with the 2 and 4 person carriage bike (with grandpa, of course). Kids also liked the William A. Irvine Ship Museum - easy walking distance and recommended. We like to stay here every time we go to Duluth."

"This was a perfect getaway for our family right on the shore of Lake Superior. I felt like I oceanfront. It is quiet and not far to Duluth, Gooseberry Falls, or Split Rock Lighthouse. The room was excellent with comfy beds, warm showers, and gigantic jetted tubs. We had a full kitchen and living area with a lovely balcony. Pool and hot tub were great. They need to ensure there are enough towels, however. We did not go to the restaurant or take advantage of other amenities at the main resort as we were in the Burlington Bay section. Definitely planning our next trip! Highly recommend!"
