"The Canal Park Lodge is very charming! The decor is very warm and inviting. We had a lake view on third floor and it was just beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. We enjoyed walking along the lake front. The aerial bridge that is walking distance from the hotel was an interesting site. We got to watch the bridge be raised for a barge that came through after midnight. That was a fun experience! I visited in early May 2026 with my two adult kids. We had a wonderful time."

"No Hot TUB .It was down and not useable , Room was alittle dusty Staff was great."

"Conveniently located, clean, nice rooms, nice common space and patio. Breakfast was not super great. I’ve stayed there before and had better breakfast options at that time."

"We had a terrible stay. No one knows how to answer a question correctly and people just point to each other until you’re annoyed enough to call corporate. Then corporate says there should be on site manager. Never heard of it the whole time were there. We were charged TWICE for our stay and no one can tell us why or advise on how to help. We will obviously be calling our bank, but the disregard, gaslighting, and unprofessionalism has stained our family vacation. Have the day you deserve."
