「Every detail was top notch, they allowed us to park our car the morning before we checked in, and there was free water, cookies and breakfast!」

「The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay.」

「Parking situation is very poorly explained and set up. The street markings out front appear to show that you can’t pull up, stop or unload at the main lobby door, and there’s seemingly no concierge. The actual parking garage is on the far side of the block on a one way system, we had to go around twice before we were able to identify the correct access point. Then - the walk just to the lobby to check in, with luggage, is about 300 yards via a bridge, another locked bridge with an intercom, down...

「Reminds me of some of the best hostels I stayed in while traveling in Europe. Super clean, very modern, and a great vibe. Joe was there when we checked in, and was super helpful in helping us get settled. Great retail store below, and a cool looking bar as well (window-shopped the store, didn’t hit the bar). It is a hostel, so be prepared for shared bathrooms, etc., but we expected that and it was all in all a great stay. Will totally stay there again!」

「Parking after about 7:30 pm was only available in the next block Behind the bowling alley. Waste baskets overflowing. Staff not in uniform. Perimeter of rotating restaurant very dirty. Windows in restaurant blurred by film (designed to control heat?). Refrigerator freezer encased in ice. Room 1004. Elevator thresholds dirty. Same problem for several years.」

「Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Popcorn bar and breakfast items were nice perks, as well as the parking garage. Great location for accessing the Lakewalk and bike trails.」

「The staff were so nice. We came to run Grandma's Marathon and they had the place decorated, welcome bags in our room and an extra early breakfast for the runners! It made the stay even better!」

「Nice place, quiet and clean, surrounded by woods so peaceful setting but near shoos and restaurants. OK pool but no hot tub. Breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room has a kitchen with dishes and cookware. Nice size closet for a studio suite. My only real complaint was the beds were like cement and so uncomfortable. I had to buy a mattress pad just to sleep. The pillows didn't have any stuffing and we're like sleeping on cloth.」

「Room was ok for for stay but water was cold for the shower. Reported twice, but unfortunately no change in the water temperature. Breakfast room was busy & food items not replaced as required.」

「Ashley at the front desk was very helpful and nice to talk with. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the hot tub was not working for a few days. Also, they were redoing the parking lot and the staff redoing the lot parked where people paying to be there were parking their big trucks making it hard to park. It would have been nice if they would have parked in the back out of the way.」
