We didn’t have a lake view. Instead we looked over the roof and parking lot. There was no microwave in the room, but it was cozy and quaint. The cabin feel was very nice. The property itself is beautiful. The room was quiet and we were comfortable. There is not a lot of counter space, but there is a good sized dresser to hold your things.

The resort is dated but there are clearly multiple renovation projects going on. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, with an assortment of activities to do.

Not much to like! We arrived after 4pm and went to our room only to find house keeping still there and we had to wait another 30! The person at the front desk was more interested in eating her chips. Don’t know why she didn’t know our room wasn’t ready! The restaurant was very over priced for the type of place. The selection was horrible and when I asked for soup and a house salad I was declined a simple salad and told only one of the two options were available! So I only had the vegetable soup which had little to no flavor!

The lodge has a cozy, homey kind of feel. The staff were very nice and we even got to check in a little early.
